It has a lot more to do with the things you DON’T DO than with the things you do.

If you can eliminate most of the friction the activities you engage in create, you won’t even have to try this hard to achieve your goals.

Take a look at your life right now, objectively.

Look at how you spend your time.

Is this how a successful person spends their time?

NO!

For me, going from 0 to $20,000/mo at the age of 22, required me to give up a few things. It required me to remove them from my life.

1.Loser friends. I define as a loser anyone who is a drifter. Anyone who doesn’t aim towards an upwards trajectory in life. Anyone who doesn’t know what he wants and anyone who’s having a hard time controlling his emotional impulses at the most basic level. I don’t care enough about losers to change them - most of them are irredeemable anyways. So I avoid them like shit on the sidewalk.

2.Substances. Yes, I smoke cigarettes and drink a couple cups of coffee a day but I’m sober as a motherfucker. I don’t ever get drunk, I don’t ever get high. I used to do this shit and it lead me nowhere I wanted to be. Being on an emotional roller coaster is the last thing I need in my life.

3.Mindlessly consuming content. I don’t watch videos randomly. This means that I’m not scrolling in social media. I only watch educational content from people I feel like they have something to teach me. I stopped watching pathetic shorts a long time ago and I never went back.

4.The food I eat. I only put in my body the highest quality foods I can afford. This keeps me sharp between the ears and looking good, which is where a lot of my confidence comes from. In addition to that, controlling what you put in your mouth (wink, wink) is a great way to build a fundamental level of discipline.

5. Fasting. This is the #1 productivity hack I can teach you. When the stomach is empty and the balls are full (If you know what I mean), you become a motivated, laser focused bull. You get shit done. That’s why I avoid eating anything carb related for the first 3/4th of my day.

“But Yiannis, how does this relate to me making more money?”

When you become better, all the inputs your business takes from you also become better. Which in turn means, all the outputs from your business become better also.

Success comes from removing stuff from your life and from doing the basics well.

The most important basic of them all is self-regulation.

By adopting these habits, you make it easy for yourself to succeed.

You’re focused, disciplined and in a stable mood. You don’t get random thoughts pop up in your mind (No losers or pathetic content) and you are in CONTROL.

Control is power.

First you gain control over yourself.

It’s impossible to fail if you master your own mind.
