The Modern Day "Roman Circus"

I haven’t - and on the short list of things I care about, who won, is nowhere to be found.

Sports, movies, celebrities - are all there to distract you.

Rent’s coming up! Who’s gonna pay it?

Dad won’t live forever! Who’s gonna make him proud?

Competition is increasing! Who’s gonna stay on top?

I used to lack priorities in life, I used to be a feather in the wind.

I cared about everything and anything aside from what actually mattered.

I wasted thousands of hours, scrolling on Instagram, playing video games, talking to ego-maniac dipshits and following trends and public figures blindly.

What I realised is that concerning myself with anything other than what directly impacts my life is a waste of time.

Time! You can’t get it back. So why waste it?

Don’t misunderstand what I say - life is indeed bland and boring at times - it does need some sauce to remain tolerable, it’s ok to zone out at times, do something for fun and enjoy yourself - but please don’t be a sheep.

Most people are spectators, they follow what they see on the screen.

They admire false idols - people who behind closed doors engage in dishonourable activities.

It’s YOUR LIFE! Don’t spend it being somebody else’s cheer leader.

Find your path, your purpose and sacrifice every other distraction for it. It’s worth it!

I always found following sports a huge waste of time.

It’s clear why people do it - they wanna fit in, they want to be part of the group.

What if I told you that ALL YOUR POWER lies in you being different?

In you NOT fitting in with the rest?

Draw the line. Your team is not rooting for you.

They wouldn’t care if you lived or die.

Why are you so supportive of them?

It’s weird bro.
